What Skills Will I Gain by Completing Your Tax Courses?

Do I need a license to work in the tax industry?

A license is not required to provide basic tax preparation services. However, becoming an Enrolled Agent (EA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) allows you to work directly with the IRS, represent taxpayers during audits, and provide a broader range of tax services at a higher professional level.

What Is the Annual Filing Season Program (AFSP)?

The Annual Filing Season Program (AFSP) is a voluntary continuing education program for tax professionals. La Rusa is the only Russian-language school in the United States that offers the opportunity to complete the required training in Russian. This is a unique opportunity for tax professionals who work with Russian-speaking clients in the United States to enhance their professional credentials and strengthen client trust.

What are the advantages of your school?

We are proud to be a certified CPE (Continuing Professional Education) provider approved by the IRS. Our courses are reviewed by the IRS, ensuring that they meet applicable regulatory requirements. This allows our students to use completed CPE hours toward their professional development and licensing requirements. All course materials are presented in clear, easy-to-understand language and are specifically adapted for the Russian-speaking community.

How Can I Become an Enrolled Agent (EA)?

The Enrolled Agent (EA) credential is the highest credential awarded by the IRS to tax professionals. Our courses will help you prepare for these exams by providing the knowledge and practical skills you need to succeed.
