Trump Promises $5,000 to Every Adult — But There’s a Catch

$5,000 for every adult — if Republicans win the election.

Donald Trump has made another major promise ahead of the November 3 midterm elections.

If Republicans maintain control of both the House of Representatives and the Senate, Trump promises to pay every adult U.S. citizen a $5,000 “Trump Dividend.”

There is just one condition: according to Trump, the money would have to be spent in the United States.

And here’s the interesting part — this is far from the first “dividend” that has been promised.

Since returning to the White House, Trump has already talked about:

• $5,000 DOGE Dividend — returning part of the projected DOGE savings to taxpayers.

• At least $2,000 Tariff Dividend — payments to Americans funded by tariff revenue.

• And now another $5,000 Trump Dividend — if Republicans win the midterm elections and retain control of both chambers of Congress.

Altogether, that’s already thousands of dollars in promised payments per person.

And how many of these large-scale “dividend” checks have Americans actually received so far?

Zero.

I wouldn’t count on that $5,000 just yet — and I certainly wouldn’t build it into the family budget.
