Trump’s $500 Check: What Americans Are Getting Along with the Money

Nearly one million Americans are receiving a letter along with a $500 check — a “refund” under the Obamacare program (an election-season bribe).

However, the check is not the only thing arriving in the mail. The letter also criticizes Joe Biden and promotes Trump’s business initiatives.

What Does the Letter Say?

For years, the Biden Administration overcharged you to fund the operation of HealthCare.gov. That money belongs to hard-working Americans, not the Government. And now, I am returning it to you!

According to the letter, the administration is using surplus funds from the Obamacare “Premium Tax.” As a result, eligible Americans will receive a one-time $500 refund.

The payment goes to people who use HealthCare.gov to purchase health insurance. However, they must not receive government subsidies to help pay for their coverage.

“You paid into this flawed system. Now, you are finally getting something back,” the letter says.

What Does Trump Say About Healthcare?

The letter then turns to healthcare policy.

It says healthcare dollars should benefit patients rather than insurance companies or government bureaucrats. Trump also says that since returning to office, he has worked to lower healthcare costs, increase accountability, and put patients first.

The letter also highlights TrumpRx. According to Trump, the program provides major discounts on prescription drugs for American families.

In addition, he says his Most-Favored-Nation pricing agreements have already saved Americans more than $1 billion on essential medications.

What Else Does the Letter Highlight?

The letter also points to a $50 billion investment in rural healthcare.

In addition, Trump says his administration expanded access to Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) for millions of Obamacare participants.

At the same time, the letter highlights efforts to restore price transparency and fight waste, fraud, and abuse throughout the healthcare system.

How Does the Letter End?

Trump says he is proud to return the money to Americans. He also promises to continue working to make healthcare more affordable, protect Americans’ earnings, and lower healthcare costs.

“May God bless you. And may He continue to bless the United States of America!”

Sincerely,
Donald J. Trump
President of the United States of America
